Our client, AstraZeneca, a global biopharmaceutical leader, required an immediate expansion of their live R&D site to support critical product development pipelines. The project demanded a facility that could bridge the gap between research and full-scale production within a highly complex, mission-critical environment.
Technical mastery
We designed and delivered a 350m² state-of-the-art laboratory, engineered for high-performance biopharmaceutical research and future-proofed for evolving innovation.

Precision environmental systems: Installed advanced HVAC systems, maintaining a consistent 21+/-3°C and a maximum humidity of 65%RH.

Externalised technical infrastructure: Integrated new fume cupboards and Class II cabinet exhaust systems, externally finished to match the site’s aesthetic cladding.

Efficiency lighting: LED and emergency lighting providing an average of 500 Lux, all fed into a new building automation system (BAS).

Integrated infrastructure: Full connectivity and safety integration, including CCTV, Wi-Fi, fire alarms, and swipe-access interlock controls linked to the existing site framework.
