Equans Sci-Tech is delighted to announce that it is now an officially accredited Living Wage Employer in the UK, reinforcing our commitment to fair pay and responsible business practices.
What is the Real Living Wage?
The real Living Wage is the only UK pay rate calculated based on the actual cost of living, including essentials such as housing, food, transport and energy.
It is set independently each year by the Living Wage Foundation and differs from the government’s minimum wage, which is based on broader economic factors.
Importantly, the real Living Wage is voluntary, meaning employers choose to adopt it to ensure their employees earn enough to maintain a decent standard of living.
For 2025–2026, the rate outside London is £13.45 per hour.
